After graduating in Chemistry at Southampton University, Mick started his career under the auspicious guidance of Terry Roberts at the Environmental Group of Shell Research Centre in Sittingbourne doing trace residue analysis and method development for studies and field trials in support of agrochemical products. In 1990 Mick moved into the contract research environment and spent 10 years conducting and directing all types of environmental fate studies investigating the fate of agrochemicals in the environment.
Subsequently Mick moved into consultancy as an Environmental Fate and modelling specialist and has been busy since assisting and advising companies through the maze of the various review and renewal programs of, mainly, the agrochemical but also biocidal sectors.
Away from work Mick attempts to improve his golf game and likes to spend as much time as possible socialising with family and friends.
