28 July 2015 saw the OECD publishing new biotic systems test guidelines. Two new guidelines were published for the testing of chemicals, Section 2.

These were:

• OECD 240: Medaka Extended One Generation Reproduction Test (MEOGRT)
• OECD 241: The Larval Amphibian Growth and Development Assay (LAGDA)
