CIPAC Method Determination of toluene as a relevant impurity in formulations

Currently there is no standard method for the determination of toluene in formulations.  Member states have been requesting methods for this relevant impurity for several years.

In response to this CIPAC are currently running a collaborative trial on four formulation types (EC, FS, SC and WG).  The results of this trial should be available soon and will provide a CIPAC method for the analysis of toluene as a relevant impurity in formulations.  When available this method will provide a published solution to this often requested method.
