The EU Commission has today (10 October 2014) published the BPR Review Regulation setting out details of the review programme for existing active substances.

The new Regulation (Commission Delegated Regulation(EU) No 1062/2014 of 04 August 2014) will repeal and replace the legislation which currently governs the review programme (Regulation 1451/2007). The new EU Regulation contains in Annex II a two part list of the active substances in the review programme and those which are shortly to be withdrawn from legal supply for certain uses unless taken over by other organisations.
