ECHA has launched a webpage to help companies comply with Article 95 of the BPR.

From 1 September 2015, a biocidal product consisting of, containing, or generating a relevant substance, cannot be placed on the EU market if the substance supplier or product supplier is not included in the Article 95 list for the product type(s) to which the product belongs.

Get ready:

• speak with your supply chain to see who should apply to be on the Article 95 list;
• don´t underestimate the preparation time, especially for data-sharing negotiations;
• submit in time to allow ECHA to assess your application by 1 September 2015;
• allow sufficient time to cover the need to give additional data if the draft decision is negative.
